Featured on Bondi FM Radio, Sunday 13th June and 25th July, advising listeners on ways to enhance their cooking skills - “yoga in the kitchen”. Tune-in again end of August 2010 for more yoga ingredients.
As one of the Ambassadors for Every Woman Festival, we celebrated “International Women’s Day” (IWD) on 8th March 2010. Each year, thousands of events are held around the world on IWD to celebrate the achievements of the fairer sex. Charlotte attended the launch of Tangent Magazine in Sydney on early December. Charlotte is a creative and inspirational yoga teacher to many Fashion Brand Ambassadors and Designers; Miranda Kerr, Kit Willow, Rachael Finch, Camilla Franks and Rebecca Powell to name a few. Charlotte was one of the Yoga Aid Challenge Leaders, teaching to almost 500 participants on 15 November 2009 in Sydney at sunrise. She was joined on stage by those she teaches, actress and model Annalise Braakensiek and fashion designer Camilla Franks. They proudly supported Barnados Children’s charity. Charlotte is one of the Ambassadors for ‘Abi and Joseph’, a beautiful clothing brand that makes ’simple’ pieces into classic, multi-purpose essentials.
‘KORA’, Miranda Kerr’s positive skincare range launched early Nov 09. As Miranda Kerr’s yoga teacher, she will be regularly contributing to the lifestyle website.
TV AND FILM
bikiniSTAR is a TV Reality Competition in search for the hottest bikini model in Australia. The 13 episode TV show with high-resolution, glossy digital photography platforms, will incorporate a holistic health approach, including Charlotte Dodson as Yoga mentor. Production Summer 2010/11.
As part of Red Bamboo Productions - Charlotte is the Celebrity and Health Relations for film productions and festivals under this company. Charlotte taught yoga to the world leading actors attending the recent Bangkok International Film Festival Sept 2009 and World Comedy Film Festival June 2009.
Charlotte features in the Worldwide VISA Card TVC 2009. She also features in the global World Comedy Film Festival TVC June 2009.
‘Schadenfreude’, is a short film directed by Peter O’Brien. Starring Charlotte and her twin sister, along with Jack Finsterer and the Otto family. This short film opened Adelaide Film Festival Feb 2009.
‘Holly’ is Charlotte’s stage name in ‘Beyond Words’, a film for deaf awareness, directed by Armand de Saint-Salvy. This short film and TV Commercial (Ch TEN and finalist for TropFest 2009) she is in also stars Gyton Grantley and Charlotte Gregg. The beautiful script emerges sound and vision as one.
Charlotte was state and final judge for the upcoming Miss Teen Australia 2008. The footage will be filmed and aired on national TV 2009. This event is proudly supporting Barnados Children’s charity.
SPAS AND RESORTS
She is a regular Visiting Consultant for ‘Chiva Som’, a highly regarded well known SPA, in Hua Hin, Thailand. She is due to consult at Chiva Som early 2011.
‘Camilla Franks’ is one of Australia’s top fashion designers. Charlotte is one of her representatives, wearing her wonderful kaftan silk clothing as she consultants across many prestige spas and resorts worldwide.
Charlotte continuously contributes to health and lifestyle publications focusing on natural ways to energise the body and mind for every day living.
Coming soon in 2010 Charlotte, will be focusing on the launch of her own DVD box set called ‘It’s Your Day’. This set comprises of 5 x DVD’s focusing on different parts of the day allowing yoga to come to you.
